RedNet 4: Powerful Dante Technology
The Dante technology by Audinate offers the perfect infrastructure for RedNet, ensuring a reliable and robust network architecture with standard components. Most of these are well-known by audio professionals.
The Dante technology offers a guaranteed 128-in and 128-out architecture at 44.1, 48 and 96 Hz at 64 I/O at 192 kHz. With an optional PCIe card, you can reach extremely low latency levels, under 3 ms!
The RedNet Digital Converter Series
The RedNet series consists of five products: four high-quality, versatile interfaces with the traditional Focusrite Pro values and performance. The sound is of course the most important aspect, though the price/quality ratio is impressive enough that it's certainly worth mentioning! Also worth mentioning is that the optional RedNet PCI Express card is also available for this series for low-latency audio, so you can enjoy 3 ms on every sample rate.
Furthermore, each analogue interface has a dynamic range of 120 dB with 24-bit resolution, so you can use sample rates up to 192 kHz. Every RedNet I/O device also features JetPLL for a very low jitter clock recovery. Focusrite Pro's conversion systems use the newest AD/DAs.
RedNet 4 supports up to eight input channels. Inputs 1 and 2 are suited for microphone, line and DI selection, and inputs 3 through 8 can be used for microphone and line selection.
