Your clean audio interface preamps are great as long as your recordings are as neutral as possible. If you're looking for a little more warmth and character, then you've come to the right place. The Warm Audio WA12 MKII does so much more than just boost the signal. By turning up the gain, you can add great-sounding saturation, for instance, and by turning down the output, you prevent your converters from clipping.
WA12 MKII connection options
As well as a balanced XLR input on the rear, the WA12 MKII also has a jack input on the front that's designed for Hi-Z instruments like electric guitar and bass. On the rear, you can choose between an XLR or a TRS output, both of which are balanced.

Le bouton d'alimentation fantôme était difficile à désenclencher, il fonctionnait 1 fois sur 10, j'ai voulu renvoyer le préampli mais en regardant de plus près, il suffisait de retirer le petit bouton en plastique, il y avait une arrête qui faisait qu'il se bloquait à l'intérieur, un défaut de fabrication sur le bouton en plastique, j'ai gratté l'arrête avec un cutter et maintenant, le bouton fonctionne correctement.
Concernant le préampli, il apporte plus de punch, de clarté et de chaleur à la voix, comparé au préampli de ma carte son SSL 2+ qui est déjà très bon à la base. Le préampli couplé à mon TLM 102 branché sur la SSL donne un son bien rond, chaleureux, clair, punchy, je ne regrette donc pas mon achat surtout avec la promo qui était en cours sur Bax shop.
Je précise que le service client était près à reprendre le préampli sans soucis mais je ne voulais pas patienter sans préampli car il n'y avait plus de stock, j'ai donc procédé moi même à la réparation qui n'était pas grand chose au final.
Donc, si c'était à refaire, je recommanderais sans problème ce petit préampli.
