The American Deluxe Jazz Bass is the more luxurious, updated version of Fender's unparalleled timeless classic. This electric bass guitar offers everything you need as a modern bass player, in a slender, familiar design. Its newly designed preamp circuit provides more deeply, inspiring tones, both active and passive. In addition, the new N3 noiseless pickups offer more clean headroom and EQ range than ever before. This version features a rosewood fretboard with block inlays and bindings and has a classic Fender Olympic White finish. Delivery includes an SKB case, guitar strap, guitar cable and Schaller Security Locks.

American Deluxe Jazz Bass: bigger, clearer and quieter

The new N3 noiseless pickups on the American Deluxe Jazz Bass produce the authentic raw J-Bass sound but with deeper basses and clearer trebles without the typical 50Hz hum. Very quiet so perfect for studio use. The guitar's electronics have been expanded with a passive/active mini switch and a volume knob, a pan knob to blend the sounds of the pickups and two double potentiometers for active and passive tone control. From sultry vintage sounds to an aggressive modern punch, the American Deluxe Jazz Bass delivers a top-notch performance in every music genre.

Classic design with fancy modern upgrades

Ever since it was introduced about fifty years ago, the appearance of the Jazz Bass has remained virtually unchanged. Its hardware and construction however, have been modernised. The new High Mass Vintage bridge has gained weight to provide a more full tone and extra sustain. Five lightweight Hipshot tuners provide better balance and improved tuning stability. Thanks to the integrated Strong Arm string guide, the A string's pressure on the nut is increased, so there's more tone and less unwanted trebles. The neck is equipped with two graphite Posiflex rods for extra strength and stability and the medium jumbo frets and 9.5-inch fretboard radius allow for low action without annoying clatter.
