Tascam LM-8ST rack line mixer

Purchased this as a sub mixer running into qsc touchmix 16, or to just use as a standalone on stage if I decided to go out and do a gig. I have the axe fx3 with a tc helicon voicelive rack and iem system running into LM-ST 8ch analogue rack and it sounds amazing! Channel 1 to touchmix 16 foh, then aux ch2 to a matrix gt1000fx with matrix passive clr's and the sound is as quiet or loud as you want it.

I still have to try the Samson sm10 to see how that sounds, and hopefully do a review and compare with lm8 .

Bax are great too! You can't beat them on price,and 60 days trial period too.

Utilisé en homme studio pour brancher plusieurs synthés sur ma carte son qui ne possède qu une seule entrée stéréo .

Ce petit mélangeur au format rack 19 est tout simplement génial . Un gain de place maximal comparé à une table de mixage, un son transparent et neutre, pas de souffle notable et un super prix !

Très bon produit.

Un tout petit bemol sur les potentiomètres de façades qui semblent un peu fragiles, mais c est juste pour lui trouver un défaut :) .

Een rackmixer zonder onnodige franje om als preamp in m'n huiskamer te gebruiken, dat is wat ik zocht en via een omweg in deze Tascam vond.

Er zijn niet veel 19 inch mixers in 1HE te koop. Ik wilde geen DJ-mixer vanwege de gebruikelijke faders en voor huiskamergebruik overbodige extra's, buiten dat neemt een dergelijk apparaat gewoon teveel kostbare rackruimte in.

Na een ART MX822 te hebben aangeschaft welke op papier een geschikte kandidaat leek maar door de matige geluidskwaliteit en vooral de nadrukkelijke aanwezigheid van brom kwam ik in een weldaad van Japans vernuft terecht met de LM8st van Tascam.

Weliswaar een hogere prijs maar voor het gebodene volkomen gerechtvaardigd.

Volledig gebalanceerd in en uit, stil (!) en cosmetisch een prachtig stuk "gear".

Alle ingangen schakelbaar tussen -10 of +4 dB wat een prettige aanpassing maakt qua leveling van pro- en consumerapparatuur.

Nogmaals, ik gebruik niet alle routingmogelijkheden maar een studio- en/of bühnemuzikant kan met dit mixertje nauwelijks klagen.

Gescheiden mix voor monitor en FOH?

Deze Tascam kan het.

Toch nog een klein minpuntje, de knoppen zijn wat klein en vanwege de glimmende caps niet altijd goed afleesbaar.
