Fender's line of Standard Stratocasters is home to four highly exclusive Strats that were illustrated by artist David Lozeau, including this Sacred Heart edition. Construction

Construction-wise, this Standard Stratocaster follows a tried and tested recipe: a successful basis in the form of a lightweight alder body and a bolt-on maple neck. The alder ensures a balanced core tone to which the 21-fret rosewood fretboard adds some warmth. Three Fender Standard single-coil pickups produce the familiar Strat sound. Like any good Stratocaster, this instrument is highly versatile thanks to the 5-position pickup switch and tone control.

David Lozeau

In America, David Lozeau made his claim to fame with his Mexican Day of the Dead inspired artwork. Lozeau draws his inspiration from punk, metal and rockabilly music, as well as from subcultures like the tattoo and hot rod scene. His work blends various styles in an often humorous way to give the establishment a nudge here and there. David Lozeau is among a group of artists who think that art should be affordable for everyone, not just a happy few.
