Since each of the panels in the London 10 kit are made of fibreglass material and have a high density, the absorption capacity is extremely high and any anomalies such as standing waves, flutter and unwanted echos are easily and efficiently cut down. To match with the colours in your studio, the London 10 Room Kit is available in three different colours: black, grey and beige.

LEDE - Live End, Dead End Room Design

At the start of '70s, studio engineers started to draw the conclusion that recording spaces that had been fully decked out with acoustic absorption material created unnatural sounding recordings that just didn't translate in the real-world. As a result, 'dead ends' were created where only part of the space was covered with material that absorbed all sound to create a dry, dead character. The opposite end of the space was left bare and referred to as the 'live end', since sound waves bouncing through the area had a more lively, open character. The two concepts were then combined and called LEDE (Live End / Dead End) and formed the foundation of a highly successful acoustic principle and every one of the room kits that Primacoustic produce is based on this very principle.
