The Korg Handytraxx line-up includes several turntables, all slightly different. While the Handytraxx Play has the creative DJ features, this Korg Handytraxx Tube J offers something completely different. This Tube J also follows the Handytraxx when it comes to portability. So you can take it with you as a case, it holds AA batteries, and there are built-in speakers. There is a USB-Audio interface on board, which concretely means that the audio from your records goes via USB to your computer, to record it there. Otherwise, it's a turntable that has no other geeky things in terms of controls: an equaliser, RPM, volume and... tube. So under the hood, there is the fine Nutube technology on the Phono-EQ. Further: the 'J' in the name refers to the addition of the JICO Clipper MM element. The JICO name is widely praised in over 120 countries, so that bit of quality is already in the pocket! Long story short: a no-nonsense turntable with very good components, and the possibility to use it in the middle of nowhere!
