General
Boss's DD-20 Giga Delay has a maximum delay time of no less than 23 seconds and offers various user memory locations. Delay time can be set quickly using tap tempo or a push-button knob. Meanwhile, eleven different modes provide you with a range of creative options, including Smooth and Twist delays and sound-on-sound recording.
Characteristics of the DD-20
Thanks to its 23-second delay time, the DD-20 is ideal for sound-on-sound recordings. The pedal's Twist mode emulates an overdriven analogue delay, while the Smooth mode produces delays with a softer, smoother character. Additionally, Analog Delay, Tape Delay and Reverse Delay options are also at your disposal. The DD-20's Memory function provides your delays with a gradual decay once you turn the effect off, and its switch function allows you to determine whether the delay should be adjusted in big or small steps.

Na veel reviews lezen en forums afstruinen ben ik voor dit delay pedaal gegaan. Tot nu toe vind ik het een van de beste pedalen die ik heb aangeschaft. Je kan er verschillende delays van tevoren inzetten en er snel tussen wisselen. Dankzij het geheugen onthoud hij dat ook zodat je het niet telkens opnieuw hoeft op te zoeken. Er zitten gigantisch veel soorten delay's in zoals Analoge, Digital, reverse, modulation (erg cool) en nog veel meer. Het pedaal is in stereo eventueel aan te sluiten en gewoon te voeden met een 9 volt adapter wat ideaal is. Ook de tap-tempo functie gebruik ik veel en is handig om onder het spelen van tempo te wisselen bij bijv. de chorus.
Kortom echt een toppedaal voor degene die meer wil dan alleen 1 simpele delay.
