What sets the White Whale Jr. apart here is the order in the signal chain: the reverb comes before the tremolo, just as in the amplifiers from which these effects originally stem. This creates an organic interplay between the two sections, with the tremolo, as it were, carrying the tail of the reverb along with it. From soft, flowing pulses to deep, rhythmic waves, the tremolo has a wider range than most pedals in this category.

Both sections can be controlled and switched completely independently, with their own footswitches, volume control and tone shaping.
