General

Keeley's Caverns Delay Reverb V2 is the new and improved version of the popular effects pedal. Just like its predecessor, this dual effects pedal gives you atmospheric delays and reverbs. There are two footswitches so that each of the effects can be used separately or together and the pedal also offers true bypass or trails options.

Caverns V2: lush reverb

The left-hand side of the pedal is home to the reverb section that lets you choose from three top-quality effects. Spring mode gives you black face amp-style spring reverb with a subtle tremolo effect, modulation mode adds chorus-like modulation to the reverb giving you an extra dimension and shimmer mode provides you with reverb that emphasises the octave-up voices in the reverb trails.

Delicious delay

On the right side of the pedal, you'll find the delay effects which are based on Keeley's popular Magnetic Echo circuit that was designed to accurately reproduce the sound of an analogue tape delay. It's possible to add wow and flutter to the repetitions for even more ambiance. If you're looking for great reverb and delay effects, you'll find them in Keeley's Caverns Delay Reverb V2.

Op zich zijn de effecten heel mooi zolang je de instellingen niet in hun uitersten draait. Het enige minpunt is dat het de originele bron klank toch iets aantast wat voor mij geen optie was en hem daarom heb omgeruild voor een MXR CCD & MXR M300. De prijs is in dit opzicht wel heel correct.
