Fancy radically transforming your sound? The MXR Textures Granular Synth Engine offers guitarists and sound explorers a stunning range of possibilities. This pedal combines granular synthesis and advanced dynamics processing in an intuitive stompbox, allowing you to transform recorded signals into sparkling pads, glitched rhythms and organic soundscapes. Eight ready-to-play presets, ranging from octave loops to polyphonic synth sounds, mean you can start experimenting straight away. With three modes – Delay, Auto-Freeze and Layers – you decide how each sound particle is shaped and repeated. As well as adjusting grain size, overlap, pitch and more, additional effects such as reverb, filter and vibrato are included. Thanks to stereo inputs and outputs, an expression pedal option and MXR Split + Tap support, you can effortlessly integrate this Textures unit into any setup.
