General
The Way Huge WHE702S Echo Puss is an analogue delay effects pedal designed by effects guru Jeorge Tripps. It's highly versatile thanks to its comprehensive LFO modulation circuit and its adjustable delay time of 20 to 600 ms giving you everything from a short slapback to long echoes. The feedback control knob allows you to adjust the length and intensity of the effect. The Echo Puss produces sounds that lie somewhere in between those generated by the classic analogue Aqua Puss MKII and the powerful Supa Puss making it perfect for musicians who love the type of delay and modulation that was around in the '70s and '80s. The newly-developed circuit means that the Way Huge Echo Puss is capable of delivering long delays and sparkling chorus effects too.
WHE702S Echo Puss: comprehensive controls
Underneath the delay and feedback controls are four other knobs. The intensity and speed of the chorus effect can be adjusted using the depth and speed control knobs giving you everything from subtle to extreme chorus. You can add more warmth or bite to your sound by using the tone knob and get the perfect mix between the dry signal and the effect by tweaking the blend knob. No matter what genre of music you play, this pedal is a worthy addition to any pedalboard.
True bypass pedal with practical extras
The Echo Puss has a very robust anodised aluminium housing and relay-based true bypass which ensures the sound of your guitar is completely untainted when the pedal is not activated. A handy blue LED indicator lights up whenever the pedal is active. The Echo Puss can be powered by a 9V battery or a 9V adapter. When the battery no longer has enough power left, the pedal automatically switches into bypass mode. The adapter input on the pedal has built-in security to prevent damage should the wrong power adapter be used.
