General

Like a high-grade reverb buffet, the Boss RV-100 serves up twelve different reverb flavours in one solid pedal complete with space for no-less-than 127 user presets. With this expansive stompbox, you not only gain access to classics like Room, Hall, Plate and Spring reverb, but more progressive and modern yet still familiar spins on the theme like Shimmer, Reverse and Modulation as well as some other cheeky surprises. The newly-developed Arpverb spits arpeggio-style pitch-shifted trails while other enticing treats include Slowverb, +Delay, Gate and Lo-Fi.

The Boss RV-200: Dreamy Ambience & Complete Control

Just like every other 200 Series pedal, this expansive Boss-designed stomper provides a satisfying and intuitive set of controls. Set the reverb Time, the effect level and Pre-Delay and give the resulting atmosphere more shape via the Low and High filter pots. You also gain control over a specific parameter per reverb type and, via the six-step Density button, your chosen reverb can be given more weight. To support even bigger reverb-based adventures, you can squeeze the reverb through expressive Hold, Twist and Warp effects by toggling the footswitch on the right, but for ultimate hands-off control, MIDI I/O mini-jack ports have been fitted alongside an expression pedal port so you can expand the setup further.

The best reverb box December 1, 2023

Wrote the following about Boss RV-200 Reverb Effect Pedal

You can get just about any reverb effect that you desire with this little box - and then save it in memory. You can set the number of memories you want so that you're not toggling through all 128 to get to your sound, this means it is very practical to use live.
Plenty of in-depth demos on Youtube but when you actually get this pedal you realise it's a good, solid box and after a few hours of discovering those perfect sounds for you, you wonder how you got by without it.
Having the same footprint as the other Boss 200 series pedals is the winner for me. All those sounds available in one small easy to use box is incredible.
