General
Revive old times with the Golden Age Audio R2 MK2 ribbon microphone. You don't need to invest in an RCA or Coles microphone to get that deep low and velvety high. A dark-sounding microphone like this is perfect for naturally bright-sounding instruments like electric guitar, drums and horns. The ribbons are insulated suspended in the basket so you won't suffer from droning side noises if someone touches the stand. Extra secret tip: buy two and hang them above each other with the heads at a 90-degree angle. This Blumlein setup will give you stereo recordings like you've never heard before.
