General
This Pinnacle Microphones Fat Top II set comprises a matched stereo pair of passive short-ribbon microphones in a brown finish, each fitted with a Lundahl LL2913 transformer. The result is a smooth, warm and ‘fat’ sound, with sharp highs naturally rounded off. Thanks to its symmetrical figure-8 polar pattern, this set is ideal for source isolation as well as for stereo recordings in a Blumlein configuration using the included bar.
