General
The Istanbul Agop 21" Turk Jazz Ride immediately stands out due to its light weight and strikingly wide bell. These characteristics give it a dark, low and mellow tone, along with a refined, controlled wash. Thanks to a tradition of thorough hammering and the absence of lathing – characteristic of the Turk series – you get a dry, complex cymbal with a distinct jazz feel. The result is a ride that comes through beautifully in subtle playing, yet also sounds rich with expressive accents. Its 21-inch diameter makes this cymbal highly versatile, from intimate jazz clubs to recording sessions.
