General
The Istanbul Agop 22" Sultan Jazz Ride is a ride cymbal that immediately stands out thanks to its unique, partially unlathed playing surface and unlathed bell. This produces a sound that is warmer and darker than you’re used to from traditional models. With its thinner weight and wider bell shape, this ride not only produces a lower pitch but still retains a clear definition of your stick strokes. This cymbal is designed as part of the Sultan Jazz series, which focuses on controlled tone and a complex, almost ‘trashy’ overtone. Perfect for drummers who want to add colour to their playing without compromising on articulation, especially when subtle nuances are required.
