General
Sabian's XSR cymbals use the same technology that was used in the successful X-Plosion and Evolution cymbals, but they're a bit more affordable. As such, the XSR-2014B 20" Rock ride cymbal offers both clear stick definition and plenty of wash. With its heavy weight, it offers quite a bit of volume, which is great for rock music as well as other genres. For this series (this ride included), Sabian enhanced the profile and bell of each cymbal to enhance its overall sound.
