ESP LTD FB-4 (2015) Frank Bello Signature electric bass guitar

The ESP LTD FB-4 is the improved version of the FB-4 Frank Bello (Anthrax) signature bass guitar. One of its most striking features is its durable anodised aluminium pickguard, as it has a beautiful silver colour that complements the chrome hardware, and which really stands out on the satin-black body. The body is also home to two active humbucker pickups by the renowned EMG company. These pickups produce an open, organic sound with the PX handling strength and volume, while the JX does wonders among the mids and trebles.

FB-4 (2015): high quality components

At Frank Bello's request, this electric bass guitar is equipped with an alder body - resulting in a light weight and an exceptionally balanced tone. To add more attack and tightness to the sound, this bass guitar was fitted with an ebony fretboard. What's more, the FB-4 sports a high-quality Gotoh bridge and stylish block inlays on the fretboard, as well as a type number inlay at the 12th fret. Thanks to the double cutaway it is easy to reach the highest frets, and the volume, balance and tone controls allow you to fine-tune the sound to your liking.
