The Fender Adam Clayton Jazz Bass RW SHM is the signature model of the bass player of the famous Irish band U2. Adam Clayton opted for a tasteful, shiny J-bass with a Sherwood Green Metallic finish. The headstock has the same shamrock finish, adorned with a silver Fender Spaghetti logo and vintage-style Lollipop machine heads. Among its other striking visual details are the pearloid position blocks and pickguard.
Fender Adam Clayton Jazz Bass RW SHM: clear and balanced basis
This Fender has an alder body connected to the familiar maple neck that features a rosewood fretboard. Additionally, this J-Bass is equipped with two Custom Shop '60s Jazz Bass pickups. The overall result is a balanced base sound that helps this electric bass guitar to pierce through the band mix excellently. Although Adam Clayton is known for its basic rhythm playing, this green Jazz Bas is the excellent instrument for funky slapping.
Smooth playability and highly versatile
The Adam Clayton Jazz Bass is equipped with a High Mass bridge with four adjustable saddles. This assures you of an optimal intonation and a full sound with clear sustain. The neck of this electric bass guitar has a custom C profile and a 9.5-inch fretboard radius, which make this Fender slightly smoother to play than the traditional J-Bass guitars. In addition to 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' and 'One', this bass guitar is also great to play other types of music, such as funk, pop and different types of jazz, for instance.

Maar de eerlijkheid gebied mij ook te zeggen dat het verschil in kwaliteit en 'feel' met mijn made in Japan Fender Aerodyne jazz niet zo heel groot is. En daar betaal je 500 euro minder voor.
