General

1980 saw the launch of the Ibanez Destroyer, a new electric guitar model with an innovative body shape. The Destroyer quickly became a classic and was coveted by both guitarists and bassists. There hasn't been a new Destroyer model on the market for a while, but now it's back! The Ibanez DTB400B-BK Destroyer Bass has a classic black colour and matching hardware. Contrasting beautifully with its rugged good looks are white block position markers and white bindings on the body and neck. You won't need to bother tracking down a case for it either, as one is already included.

Ibanez DTB400-BK Destroyer Bass

The DTB400B has a mahogany body, a maple neck and a rosewood fretboard. This combination of wood types gives the Destroyer a solid bass tone with enough brightness and warmth for any style of music. A P pickup in the neck position and a J pickup in the bridge position are responsible for delivering the solid, rich sound to your amp, and give the Destroyer a more versatile sound than its appearance may suggest. Each pickup has its own volume control, while the tone control is shared between them. Whether you want to groove, slap or shred, the Ibanez DTB4---BK Destroyer Bass Debut Black can do it all!
