General
The Bigsby tremolo bridge has an impressive reputation, so it's no wonder many guitarists would love to have one on their instrument. With the Gretsch G2622T Streamliner Center Block Flagstaff Sunset, Gretsch Guitars makes that dream a very viable option. This hollow-body guitar takes you straight back to the glory days of rock 'n roll, but is easy to play thanks to a few modern upgrades. Its gorgeous Flagstaff Sunset finish makes this semi-acoustic Gretsch a real looker too.
G2622T Streamliner Center Block Flagstaff Sunset: from fingerpicking to solos
The G2622T's two high-output Broad'Tron humbuckers deliver that authentic Gretsch sound you've come to know and love: growling bass tones, sparkling trebles and clear mids. Independent volume knobs for the pickups and a set of master and tone controls put you in charge of a wide range of different sounds. A comfortable, thin U-profile neck allows for both quiet rhythm parts and soaring solos, a double cutaway gives you easy access to the 22nd fret, and the guitar's Bigsby colours your output.
Modern design
Guitars with f-shaped sound holes are usually a recipe for feedback. This Gretsch, however, has been fitted with a centre block to tackle that problem. Feedback is reduced to a minimum, while you can still enjoy all the benefits of a hollow-body instrument. With two high-output humbuckers at your disposal, you'll be able to make this Gretsch howl, even at a lower volume. What's not to love?

Aanrader !!

Gretsch Introduces the Vintage Select and Player Editions
Friday 29 January 2016Gretsch fans can roughly be divided into two groups. On the one hand you have the purists who think the specifications from the 1950s and 1960s - the Gretsch heydays - are beyond dispute. On the other hand, you have the more practically minded guitarists who like to make modifications to their instruments. Luckily, both camps are being catered to with Gretsch's new series: the Vintage Select Editions and the Players Editions. Go for a modern classic like the G6118T-SGR or travel back in time to 1962 with the Gretsch G6119T-62GE!
