Looking for that warm jazz tone that vintage archtops are so loved for? The Sigma SATA-400E semi-electric guitar gives you just that! A fullsize hollowbody with the rich, acoustic resonance immediately reminiscent of Django Reinhardt's archtop guitars. In terms of playing comfort, the SATA-400E is just right for you. The soft V-neck is surprisingly comfortable to hold and the ebony fingerboard gives you the precision you expect from Sigma. Whether you're comp'ing chords or playing a solo, everything about the guitar feels just right. This gives the guitar's old-skool look yet a modern and contemporary character.

Solid wood, iconic look

The solid and hand-carved AAA-grade, spruce top provides a bright sound and fine projection. But besides the top, the SATA-400E also has a fully solid 'flamed' maple side and back, which together ensure the characterful sound with beautiful vintage look. Complete with gold tuners and a beautifully decorated Sigma headstock, Sigma delivers an instrument that sounds as good as it looks. And the sunburst colour makes it all the more authentic: it's as if this hollowbody came straight out of the 1950s!

The warmth of a P90

Besides playing fully acoustic, you can also use this Sigma archtop with an amplifier. This is because the sound is enhanced by a warm, dynamic P90 pickup in the neck. Typical of that recognisable vintage Gibson character: full, round and a touch raw at higher volume. Perfect for jazz but also suited to blues and anything with a vintage edge.
