Boss ES-8 Effects Switching System: Connectors

With this Boss switcher, you have six mono loops, a mono loop with stereo return and a stereo loop at your disposal. In essence, that means you can connect eight separate stompboxes, but of course there's always room for experiments. Additionally, the ES-8 is fitted with connectors for a stereo volume pedal and two control input or expression input pedals - that's even more options! You can also plug in two external expression pedals and three external controllers. MIDI in and out/thru options and a connector for the included Boss PSA S adapter at the rear of the Boss switching system complete the picture.

A World of Switchable Possibilities

The Boss ES-8's twelve footswitches allow for elaborate control options, and you can fine-tune your settings using the eight buttons at the top of the control panel. Navigating your presets is a piece of cake using the bank switches, and presets are easily created with a little help from the memory switch and edit buttons. If you want to tune your instrument quietly, or quickly produce a sound that's free of effects, the mute/bypass footswitch will come in handy.
