Microfoons zijn fijn de meeste emulaties zijn ook goed, wel is het wel aanteraden de hardware te gebruiken in plaats van de plugin. Er zit in de VST versie soms wat vreemde hoge artefacts. Misschine dat dit nog verholpen wordt.... de hardware emulatie in de Orion Studio SC is wel goed en zit niet de irritante frequenties in.
Verwacht geen exacte klank van een Schoeps MK4 ofzo de KM84 komt redelijk in de buurt, maar er is toch wel degelijk een verschil waarneembaar. Voor de prijs... het is echt een koopje voor deze prijs.

Na gebruik van de Slate ML-1 en ML-2 en de Townsend Sphere heb ik nu ook de Antelope Verge in mijn collectie. Goed gebouwde microfoon, maar sonisch vind ik dat hij onder doet voor de Slate ML-2. De Verge heeft een soort irritante piek rond 7kHz. Nog steeds een zeer bruikbare microfoon dankzij alle emulaties, maar ook in de emulaties vind ik hem een stuk minder overtuigend dan Slate en Townsend. Kortom, een veelzijdig microfoon voor de goede prijs, maar verwacht niet dat het echt lijkt op de mics die het nabootst. Dan moet je toch echt bij de andere twee fabrikanten zijn.
