Product information

General

Blue are renowned manufacturers of microphones that combine quality audio with a stylish exterior. The Blue Hummingbird is no different - this professional condenser microphone has a capsule that's based on the B1 capsule. This capsule can be used on Blue's flagship, the Bottle, and was the inspiration for the Hummingbird’s capsule, which allows for proper top-end recordings too. Acoustic guitars, drums and wind instruments will all benefit from a high-quality condenser microphone like the Hummingbird!

Blue Hummingbird: rotatable head

A special characteristic of this microphone is the rotatable head. It can be rotated by 180 degrees, a concept that Blue applied to the Dragonfly and Mouse models before. This means that you can accurately aim and position the mic. Internally, the Hummingbird is equipped with high-grade electronics. The preamp is a class-A amplifier, which means that this microphone responds to transients very well. Moreover, it can handle high sound pressures, so that loud instruments aren't an issue! It comes with a shock mount, windscreen and durable storage case.
