General

The Golden Age Audio FC4 small-diaphragm condenser microphone stereo set is suitable for any job. With their fixed cardioid directional characteristic, you can use the FC4 microphones a stereo setup, for example as drum overheads or over a piano. Everything sounds realistic and clear thanks to the wide frequency range. Don't worry about noise and distortion, either. Switch on the -10 dB pad if you are going to record very loud instruments. If the mics are very close to the instrument, turn on the high-pass filter to curb the abundance of bass. The FC4 microphones can be hung on a tripod in complete isolation with the supplied shockmounts. The whole package comes in a solid case.
