Evans have granted this Genera HD Dry double-ply drumhead a 2mil damping ring to counter unwanted overtones and frequencies and leave nothing but a fat sound and a controlled sustain. This durable snare batter head further features a 5 mil outer ply and a 7.5 mil inner ply and offers a sharp attack.

Please note: Evans changed the logo on the drumhead in the middle of 2019. Up until then, 'Level 360' was also printed on the surface. You may receive a drumhead with or without the updated logo, but apart from that they're exactly the same. The box was also updated at the end of 2019.

Wrote the following about Evans B13HDD Genera HD Dry 13-inch Snare Drumhead

Klinkt prima, weet nog niet hoe het zich gaat houden op langere termijn met al die luchtgaatjes.
Heb een hekel aan dempringen en moongel, dus dit leek me een goed alternatief.
Minpuntje is niet zozeer het vel zelf, maar meer de wijze waarop Bax meent dit te moeten verzenden: De doos van Evans is ongeveer 28 x 28 x 2 cm, en Bax stopt dit in een giga-doos van 60 x 40 x 40 cm, met een enorme berg plastic (!!!!) luchtzakjes om de overtollige ruimte in de doos op te vullen. Dat moet toch beter kunnen.......
