The Pearl Sensitone Heritage Alloys Series encompasses a collection of prominent snare drums that each evoke the sound of legendary chart-toppers. At the same time, the models in the Sensitone Heritage range meet the demands of any modern musician, as evidenced by the included Remo Ambassador drum heads, the 20-strand snare wires and the premium-quality rims. Take heed if you're a power-player, because Pearl's new-old snares are about to set new standards.
The Sensitone Heritage Alloys: Three Metals
Each snare in the Sensitone Heritage Alloys series is available in three different materials: steel, aluminium and brass. The steel edition packs a sharper sound with a sensitive, high-pitched snap, while the aluminium shell has a drier, more focussed 'crack' that decays quickly. Thirdly, the black brass model offers the perfect blend of attack and a copper-like-bodied sound, finishing a high-end drum fit for both stage and studio use.
