General

The Pearl HEK1465 Exotic Kapur Fibreglass snare drum is made of two different materials. Its 14 x 6.5-inch shell is made from Kapur wood and has a layer of fibreglass on the inside. This creates a warm sound with great projection. The HEK1465 is finished with a black high-gloss lacquer, to give it a chic look. It is equipped with chrome hardware and Remo drumheads. It's also available in a 14 x 5 and a 14 x 8-inch version.

Pearl has made the HEK1465 Hybrid Exotic snare drum shell out of 6 plies of high-quality Kapur wood. Kapur is known for its excellent resonance. When you strike it, it creates a warm and expressive tone, especially in the mid and low frequencies. The fibreglass layer on the inside gives this Hybrid Exotic some extra power. A snare drum with a remarkably warm sound The SuperHoop II hoops make the drumhead easier to tune and make sure that the tension remains constant. Top quality from Pearl.
