Tama offers various snare drums that appeal to different drummers in their Sound Lab Project series, which consists of various special shell constructions and high-quality hardware. This Classic Dry Aluminium shell is 14 x 5.5 inches and made of 1.2mm-thick aluminium. It features Steel Mighty Hoops and 8 lugs for a dry, sharp tone and a short sustain.

Classic look

This snare will take you back to the aluminium snares that were introduced to the market a few decades ago. The moulded ring around the middle ensures the sound is diffused before it's reflected back, resulting in a more vintage sound than you might expect. Finally, the Superstar lugs add the perfect finishing touch.
