The 13 x 7-inch Tama LGM137-STA snare drum is part of Tama's Sound Lab Project series. It has a 10mm-thick shell made of 13 plies of maple, including an outer ply of Tamo Ash to give it a nice look. The combination of die-cast hoops and maple gives this snare a powerful, bright sound with surprising volume. This 13 x 7-inch snare is excellently suited for music styles such as funk, pop-funk, gospel and hip hop.
