Omar Hakim is one of the most succesful drummers of the past few decades. He's played with everyone from Madonna and sting to Miles Davis and Weather Report. He's been a faithful Pearl endorser for a long time, and has had his own signature snare drum for years.

The Pearl OH1350 Omar Hakim signature snare drum is a 13 x 5-inch snare drum with a 6-ply African mahogany shell, that showcases the beauty of the wood it's made of. It is equipped with SuperHoop II hoops, stainless steel tension rods and a Gladstone-style vertical pull throw-off. It has a unique sound, that has been described as a 'power-piccolo' sound, and just like the artist whose name is on the badge, it will fit virtually any musical style.
