As you can imagine, Lars Ulrich plays a snare drum with a steel shell for a sound loud enough to cut through Metallica's powerful mix. On tour he uses this stylish black model. If you're lucky and fast enough, you too can also get your hands on one of the 125 Limited Edition models that have been made available worldwide. The 14 x 6.5-inch shell is made of black plate steel and has matte black hardware. It's fitted with a black Remo Ambassador drum head signed by the great man himself. Understandably, you might not want to play that, so it comes with a standard Remo Ambassador drum head as well.

• Two Remo Ambassador Black Suede drum heads are included with the snare drum. One drum head is signed by Lars Ulrich.
