General

No matter how well you can sing, vocals alone aren't going to cut it - you need backing. That's where the M-Live Merish 5 Plus comes in. Essentially a song-player in a compact housing, this unit enables you to playback audio files like MP3s and Ogg as well as MIDI files. The Merish 5 Plus comes pre-loaded with a fat stack of sounds, drum kits and percussion, and since it has a 240-voice polyphony, you've got nothing to worry about in terms of complexity. There's ample memory for storing songs in various formats including WAV, MP3, MIDI, FLAC, AAC and MP4, and you get an XLR/jack input with built-in phantom power so you can plug in your microphone before harmonising the sound. A brilliant standalone bit of kit for travelling solo performers, the M-Live Merish 5 Plus even supports MIDI keyboards so you can play along and effortlessly trigger any of the built-in sounds.
