The wall of Orange speaker cabinets has become a common sight on festival stages. Luckily, these speaker cabinets also come in smaller sizes so you can use them at home and in the studio. This Orange PPC112 is a closed-back speaker cabinet with a 12-inch Celestion Vintage 30 speaker. It is one of the most popular speakers for guitar amplification and can be heard on numerous albums. The cabinet is made of 18mm birch, which combines beautifully with the power of the Celestion.

Orange PPC112: optimal sound

Thanks to the special rubber bottom, optimal surface contact is established, which greatly benefits bass response and overall tone development. The PPC112 produces a warm, direct tone with a mild emphasis on the mid range. The PPC112's input impedance is 16 ohms and it allows for a maximum of 60 watts. The black handle on top allows you to lift the 15kg PPC112 more easily. This new Orange is black, which is very stylish indeed.

Wrote the following about Orange PPC112 BLK 1x 12 speaker cabinet

Ik ben zeer tevreden met deze kleine cab die groots klinkt.

Pluspunten:
* Er is degelijk hout gebruikt.
* Gesloten achterkant waardoor de cab flink wat druk kan geven.
* Celestion v30 speaker (made in China).
* Zit goed in de tolex en is goed afgewerkt.
* De cab is rond de 15 kilo en is kwa omvang goed te vervoeren.
* Het oog wil ook wat en deze cab ziet er gewoon degelijk en mooi uit.
* Het cabinet geeft veel volume en een vol geluid. Er zijn 2x12 cabinets die minder goed en vol klinken.
* Breed genoeg om diverse amps boven op te kunnen plaatsen. Mijn Marshall studio vintage past er goed op.

Minpunten:
* Speaker moet ingespeeld worden, dit is een punt wat voor elke cab geldt uiteraard. Het inspelen neemt zeker een uur of 10 in beslag. Na een paar uur spelen hoor je al letterlijk een verschil in sound die steeds beter en voller begint te klinken.
* Best prijzig voor een 1x12 cab.
