General
Yamaha is known for manufacturing high-quality products for many different fields. Their DSR active speaker series was widely acknowledged as a great success, and the DXR/DXS series is its successor. This set of two 12-inch tops and two 15-inch subwoofers is simple to connect via the included cables, and the built-in 3-channel mixer always guarantees a great final mix.
DXR 12: powerful versatile speaker
After the 8 and 10-inch models comes the DXR 12. Its large 12-inch woofer gives the speaker a considerably wide frequency range of 58 Hz to 20 kHz. As such, this 12-inch model can be used without a subwoofer. The 1,100W speaker can produce a maximum sound pressure level of no fewer than 132 dB. Moreover, all speakers from the DXR series allow you to set the playback mode, depending on whether you use it with or without a subwoofer.
The DXS 15: a 15-inch powerhouse!
This 15-inch subwoofer is the largest of the DXR-DXS series, and is placed in an acoustically optimised band-pass housing. The D-class amplifier is good for up to 950 watts of power. The subwoofer has different frequency modes, and via the DX sub setting you can reach extremely low frequencies from 45Hz to 160Hz. You also have the additional choices of boosting or expanding low frequencies.

This set of two 12-inch tops and two 15-inch subwoofers is simple to connect via the included cables. Additionally, you get two 3-metre Procab XLR cables and two 10-meter cables for connecting to your PA mixer or mixer. To set the speakers up on top of one another, you also get two American Audio distance rods with adjustable lengths from 82 to 125 cm.
