This affordable active model features a built-in amplifier module so it can be directly hooked up to a PA mixer, a DJ mixer or DJ console. The sub then automatically splits the input signal, reproducing the low-end frequencies itself before passing the mids and trebles onto a set of connected 12 inch or 15 inch active speakers via the outputs. This immediately gives the higher frequency range more breathing room, resulting in a speaker system that doesn't just sound more full but is capable of pushing more volume. To complete the pack, Devine hasn't just thrown in two speakers and two subwoofers, but a pair of distance rods for mounting the speakers on top of the subs plus all of the necessary connecting cables.
