If you're a versatile live keyboardist, then you're sure to appreciate the Clavia Nord Stage 3 88. This piano/organ/synth has full hammer-action keys and although it weighs significantly more than its counterpart the Stage 3 HP76, it's the best of the best when it comes to achieving the same feel as an acoustic piano. Naturally, it also enables you to switch effortlessly between powerful organ and synth sounds. What more could you possibly want? A sustain pedal also comes in included.
Nord Stage 3: From Stage 2 EX to Stage 3
After the success of Clavia Nord's Stage 2 EX Series, the question is, what could Clavia Nord possibly do to make the Stage 3 Series even better? For starters, they managed to enhance and modernise all three of these stage pianos/keyboards. The piano sample memory has been doubled to a capacity of 2 GB so you can load in even more pianos using the Nord Sound Manager. The polyphony is also twice as big, boasting 120 voices instead of 60! Also, the seamless transition functionality prevents any unwanted interruptions when you switch between programs.
More Than a Piano
If you go for the Nord Stage, you're choosing more than just piano sounds, as these instruments also include high-quality synthesizer and organ samples. Each sample bank has its own section on the Nord Stage 3's control panel, which also features two bright OLED displays that make it even easier to select and edit sounds and programs. There's also a powerful effects section! Combine sounds and play two pianos, two organs, and two synths at the same time, with effects!

Ik wou zeggen dat dit product echt goed werkt.. Ik heb er hier ook eentje besteld bij Bax-music en het was echt perfect

Wie de meeste functies wil voor dit geld, is wellicht meer gebaat bij een Korg Kronos of Kurzweil Forte. De Nord Stage 3 beschikt bijvoorbeeld niet over een sequencer, audio over USB, arbitraire split points, en er kunnen maximaal 2 synth parts tegelijk actief zijn. Op het gebied van gebruiksgemak (zeker voor live) overtreft de Nord echter de concurrentie met gemak. Bovendien is de Nord Stage 3 een stuk lichter dan een Kronos of Kurzweil.
