General

The Boss TU-3 is a chromatic tuner built into a sturdy pedal, or stage tuner. The TU-3 has a 21-segment LED meter with a High-Brightness mode so you can tune accurately on the least lit stages. Besides the tuner, this bundle also includes 2 patch cables to connect it to other pedals on your pedalboard, for example.

Details of the Boss TU-3

You choose between chromatic or bass/guitar mode and its visual Accu-Pitch function lets you tune very accurately. The TU-3 displays the note name even of seven-string guitars and six-string bass guitars. The Flat-Tuning mode supports up to six steps in semitones. When you switch on the pedal, the output signal is automatically muted. The TU-3 can additionally power up to seven additional Boss effects pedals with the optional PSA230 and loop-through cables.

I dont normally leave reviews but Ill give praise where praise is due.

The BOSS TI3 is a fantastic quality pedal that has a lovely feel and build quality to it. I am fairly new to BOSS pedals, having recently acquired a older BOSS OC-2 as much first, I was introduced to the manufacturers build quality and feel. Also the TU3 has a 5 year warranty from BOSS, giving you some reassurance that they think their products have some longevity.

That operation of the pedal is very smooth and its simple to use. However there is the ability to alter some parameters if the user wants to delve a little deeper. I play a 5 string electric bass guitar and the tuner is perfectly happy with the low B.

The action of the foot switch is very quiet and not clunky in any way (BOSS use an electronic switch rather than a mechanical one used by a lot of other manufacturers, a feature that I particularly admire).

One point I was not sure about was the size of the display readout, as my now spare tuner has a larger display. However in use the TU3 is nice and bright and clearly readable so my doubts were unfounded.

All in all a great pedal, and from BAX the most competitive price (with free shipping

Prima kabeltjes. Ze zijn wat stug qua buigen, dus als je veel pedalen hebt, is het handig ze niet strak tegen elkaar aan te zetten, maar ze bijvoorbeeld een stukje beneden of boven elkaar te plaatsen. Kwestie van even puzzelen hoe je je pedalboard het beste kunt inrichten. Op de kwaliteit is verder niks af te dingen...degelijke, stevige kabels.

super accurate tuner, werkt voor alle instrumenten met een input, geen amp nodig om ermee te stemmen echt heel erg handig. kan ook stemmen met enorm veel achtergrondgeluid!!

Een echte boss TU-3 chromatic tuneer, wie had ooit gedacht dat je zo'n prachtpareltje mocht bezitten. Nooit meer gekloot tijdens repetities met ssssst stil zijn ik probeer te stemmen. Of die klote apps gebruiken die er toch altijd minimaal 2c naast zitten.

Neee met deze boss chromatic tuner speel je zo in tune dat zelfs vogelzang vals begint te klinken. En laten we eerlijk wezen, die beestjes zijn toonvaster dan Judith van op de hoek die iets te hard onder de douche zingt. Judith als je dit leest, misschien is dit product ook wel wat voor jou!
