In collaboration with Taylor, Elixir has developed this 11182 Nanoweb HD Light string set. It's suitable for steel-string guitars, specifically with a Grand Concert or Grand Auditorium body. These HD Light strings offer a remarkably good balanced tone with broad, strong highs and full, deep bass. The 11182 string set has 80/20 bronze-wound strings that deliver even more sparkle than phosphor bronze.
Elixir 11182 HD Light: coating
The esteemed feature of the Elixir series is the ultra-thin Nanoweb coating, which protects the strings from corrosion. It also prolongs the lifespan of these strings, especially when compared to uncoated strings. As far as performance and look is concerned, the coating is virtually imperceptible. Thanks to Taylor, the Elixir 11182 premium set of strings guarantee top quality!

Het merk Elixir is een uitstekend merk, maar deze set snaren (Elixir 11182 Acoustic 80/20 Bronze Nanoweb HD Light 13-53) moet je alleen aanschaffen als je geen moeite hebt om je akkoorden en barré's krachtig in te drukken. Normaal gesproken speel ik op Custom light snaren 0.11-0.52. Ik had beter moeten opletten, want dan had ik gezien dat deze set voor mij te zwaar is.

Na jaren Daddario snaren overgestapt naar Elexir Nanoweb. Wat een verschil. Vanaf nu enkel nog Elexirs (wat duurder maar zeker de moeite waard).
