If you already own an electric guitar, an amplifier and a computer with DAW software, this Bax Advised Electric Guitar Star Recording Kit gives you everything else you need to record your music. The kit consists of high level studio-grade equipment like Sennheiser's E 906 dynamic instrument microphone that's specially designed for guitar amplifiers and Audient's iD14 USB audio interface. The interface has two inputs which means you can connect an optional second microphone for stereo recordings. You also get Beyerdynamic's excellent DT-770 Pro 250 ohm closed studio headphones, a microphone clamp designed especially for guitar amplifiers and an XLR cable by Procab.

Innox IVA 19 Guitar Amplifier Microphone Clamp

Super little bit of kit. I had done a fair bit of searching for something like this and most similar devices were twice the price and still had reviews that were fairly mixed. Most similar stuff seems to struggle being solid and dependable, but this clamp when attached is going nowhere. Honestly for this price I firmly believe the Innox is the one to get.

If you have a good amp/speaker - none of this modelling stuff, get yourself an SM57 and an Innox IVA 19 Guitar Amplifier Microphone Clamp. So easy to set up and use. This little piece of gear has transformed my routine and I would not be without it. Slips neatly into my leads box. Love it. Great service and value from BAX Music as always!!

Audient iD14 USB Audio Interface

Cannot fault this interface at all! The preamps are nice and clean, the DI works brilliantly and the ID scroll wheel is great feature.
I chose the iD14 based on internet reviews and YouTube videos. It was between this and a Focusrite (I really wanted a UAD but that was way out of budget!), I’m really glad I chose the Audient and I don’t see myself wanting or needing to upgrade anytime soon (maybe ever...)
I do all my recording and mixing in the box and this is the perfect interface for my needs.

Innox IVA 19 Guitar Amplifier Microphone Clamp

The Innox IVA 19 guitar amplifier microphone clamp is very strong and will not move once attached to the speaker cabinet, however badly that cabinet vibrates. I prefer this clamp to the "gooseneck" clamps becauseit is so strong and sturdy it should be able to hold a 25lb microphone if such a thing exists whilst being as easy to position as a "gooseneck". In that sense it will happly hold microphone vibration isolation holders, although I have not found this to be necessary. Speaker cabinet clamps obviously save stage floor real estate and they don't move due to accidental knocks like floor stands.
