Most of the kits contain a microphone which you place in front of your guitar amplifier to capture the sound which goes into your computer via the included audio interface. The kits also contain headphones and all the accessories you need.
Mellow Star and On-The-Go
The Mellow Star recording kit is geared towards milder styles of music and for this reason it includes a ribbon microphone rather a condenser mic. The On-The-Go recording kit is also slightly different from the others and has been put together for those who want the ability to make high-level recordings with their electric guitar anywhere. All you'll need is this kit, your guitar and a computer or iOS device.
