Open and Over-Ear: The K812 Headphones

The AKG K 812 are characterised by an open construction that guarantees a balanced sound reproduction. Two large 53mm drivers deliver the highest dynamic range in AKG's history, while the aluminium voice coils take care or the entire sound spectrum. The soft, over-ear earpieces and adjustable headband guarantee ultimate comfort, even during long studio sessions.

Wrote the following about AKG K812 Studio Headphones

Mycket bra. Öppen transparent ljudbild, neutral återgivning. Både ljudkaraktär, detaljrikedom och kvalite är mycket lik Sennheizer HD 800S som brukar ligga på fast pris 15kkr.

Kabeln är dock lite sämre än snittet i denna prisklass, men det går att åtgärda.

En brasklapp är att den behöver spelas in ganska länge 100-150 timmar. Innan dess är det en klart råare och diskantrik karaktär. Det är mycket stor skillnad, mer än andra jag känner till.

En mycket bra hörlur för HiFi och studiomixning. Undantaget "Bassheads" ;-)

Det som finns i musiken det är det man får.. på ett positivt sett.
