General

This enormous Adam S5V active studio full-range monitor is the ideal solution for substantial professional studios. It's 52 kg and features a 12-inch woofer, a 4-inch mid and a ribbon tweeter that was hand-made in Berlin. This unit delivers an impressive frequency response of 26 Hz to 50 kHz, which allows it to reproduce any musical genre with great accuracy. This monitor has been designed with large-scale professional studios in mind, as a large studio space is essential for building up low-frequency waveforms.

Features of the Adam S5V

No matter how you look at it, the high tones of this monitor are ultra-tight, thanks to the hand-made ribbon tweeter. As a result, this monitor is also able to reproduce light music with lots of high tones very well. This is clearly a high-end device, judging by what you'll find on the rear panel; analogue XLR and AES3 XLR inputs and a USB port for downloading firmware upgrades directly. The display, also located on the rear, offers equalizing and room compensation so you can make crucial setting adjustments to your mix.
