This Focal Shape 40 active studio monitor comes as a single unit and is compact enough to fit in just about any space. Most studio monitors are equipped with a hole in the housing near the woofer or tweeter known as a bass port, but the Focal Shape has passive radiators instead. The advantage of this is that these monitors can be placed very close to the wall, again beneficial in studios where space is limited.
