I was looking at lots of different studio monitors and reading lots of reviews, I have yamaha hs8 with the sub all ready but thought maybe this could but a nice upgrade and I was so right, I love my new Genelec M-Series M040 I took them out the box set them up and was instantly blown away with the imaging and depth they offer is so diffrent they work so well in my room they have a very nice low end too so much of one that I'm not sure I will need my sub to be fair, my yams are now redundant I will a/b tho to be fair but work most of the time on the gens

De M040 heeft een goed geluid, de schakelbare instellingen achterin dragen daar ook bij. Zo kun je de basrespons aanpassen dmv een schakeltje omzetten. Op de monitor zelf staat aangegeven welke situatie welke instellingen vereist dus dat komt helemaal goed. Dit geldt ook voor de positie van de monitor, bv. staat deze op een plank en heeft deze een muur erachter staan enz.
Je bent nog wel even met het zoeken naar de 'ideale' positie voor de monitor. Het is dan ook raadzaam om je hier over in te lezen.
Fijn product, erg tevreden!

Wat extra ondersteuning in het laag erbij is wel een aanrader. ( afhankelijk van de muziek soort )

Het blijft verbazen wat deze in hun mars hebben.
Ze schakelen gewoon in standby bij geen signaal. dat zou alle audio app. moeten doen.
