The beauty of these M-Audio monitors is that they both come fitted with a more modest 3.5 inch woofer and are easy to set up. Simply link the passive monitor to the active monitor, which houses a built-in amplifier complete with RCA ports and balanced jack ports for hooking up an audio interface. And, just in case you don't have an audio interface, a set of headphones can be plugged in so you can direct-monitor your mixes. These monitors can also be connected to a computer and while they are the smallest member of the BX Series, they deliver decent, balanced sound.
