Ideal for small, back-bedroom home studios, this pair of M-Audio BX3 studio monitors have been specifically designed to complete the setup of any budding music producer. Since most beginners are usually short on space, it makes little sense to start working with monitors loaded with massive woofers, which will only result in a messy and dishonest audio image. The beauty of these M-Audio monitors is that they both come fitted with a more modest 3.5 inch woofer and are easy to set up. Simply link the passive monitor to the active monitor, which houses a built-in amplifier complete with RCA ports and balanced jack ports for hooking up an audio interface. And, just in case you don't have an audio interface, a set of headphones can be plugged in so you can direct-monitor your mixes. These monitors can also be connected to a computer and while they are the smallest member of the BX Series, they deliver decent, balanced sound.
