With the Monkey Banana Turbo 8, you get a more friendly breed of monkey on your back. However, make no mistake, remove the peel and this studio monitor reveals one big monkey armed with some serious specs that are essential to fluid and precise mixing, especially when working on big EDM or orchestral projects. The Turbo 8 is fitted with a fat 8-inch woofer that faithfully reproduces, and never loses, the low-end (all the way down to 45Hz) and, if you want to dive to even lower depths, just connect the hulking gorilla that is the Turbo 10s sub. S:/PDIF in and thru connectors sit next to TRS, XLR and RCA ports on the back of the Turbo 8, giving you the pick of the best possible signal transfer. This very particular Banana is also available in black, red and classic yellow.

Wrote the following about Monkey Banana Turbo 6 Active Studio Monitor (Single Unit, Red)

Ik ben nu zo'n 2 maanden in het bezit van deze opvallende speakers en heb er geen seconde spijt van gehad. Ik gebruik ze in combinatie met een focusrite 2i4. De speakers zijn makkelijk te koppelen en werken snel. De Jungle protect modus op de speakers is ook handig, ze gaan op standby wanneer je ze een lange tijd niet gebruikt.

Dan het geluid, want daar draait het om. De boxen zijn echt kraakhelder qua geluid, Low end is erg warm en goed te horen, midden en hoog zijn super scherp. Tijdens het afmixen van tracks hoor je echt waar elementen in de knel zitten en hoor je duidelijk wat je aan het doen bent. Het heeft er bij mij voor gezorgd dat de kwaliteit van mijn mixes beter is geworden. Wat mij betreft de beste aankoop die ik in tijden heb gekocht!
