What's the KH 120 A capable of?

Both the woofer and the tweeter are driven by a most accurate 80W Class A/B amplifier for a maximum sound pressure of up to 111 dB SPL. Now that should more than cover most near-field applications. For a broad sound projection, wide sweet spot and as little reflection from your mixer or the ceiling as possible, Neumann has equipped the KH 120 with the MMD wave guide.

The KH 120 A feels at home wherever it goes 

The tone controls on the back of the KH120A allow you to place this monitor wherever you want. If they're close to a back wall, you can tone it down some on the low frequencies. If they're sitting on a desk or a mixer's meter bridge instead, you can compensate the mid boost using the Low-Mid band. And should you find yourself in a room with loads of acoustic dampening, the treble boost can help out. Also, the KH 120A's housing is magnetically shielded, which is why you can find these monitors in AV studios all over the world. The various mounting holes can be used to mount the KH120A to a wall or ceiling using separately available brackets.
